Matrix SCM is now in pole position to supply the whole public sector with its innovative services procurement solution.

It is is the leading supplier on a new, four-year, framework let by the YPO. Under the framework, public sector organisations can now implement Matrix SCM’s procurement technology platform, SProc.Net, and run it as a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure goods, works and complex services.

The framework covers, but is not limited to the following categories of spend: Adults’ Social Care; Children’s Social Care; Consultancy Services; Older People’s Social Care; Community Transport Services; Temporary Staffing; Travel Services; Learning & Development Services; Insurance Services; Legal Services; Security Services; Facilities Management; Printing Services; Food; Stationery; Early Years items.

It will allow any public sector organisation across the UK which includes local authorities, NHS, Fire and Rescue Services, Police Authorities and Central Government Departments to choose to implement SProc.Net without the requirement to tender.

MATRIX SCM has started the new year with two new clients going live with Matrix SCM’s innovative services procurement solution.

Derby City Council and the London Borough of Waltham Forest have both appointed Matrix SCM to manage the process of engaging temporary staff across the authorities.

Both authorities expect to make significant additional cost savings over and above those delivered by their previous managed service provider, as well as considerable process efficiencies.

Matrix SCM is now delivering it innovative services procurement solution to more than 60 public sector organisations across the UK, allowing them to streamline and automate the process for buying complex services including adult social care, older peoples social care, consultancy services and temporary staff.
