Matrix SCM believe there is a huge potential to market manage more effectively in multiple service procurement categories and see this delivering benefit both for the local authority but also the supply chain (which is typically local SME's who would otherwise struggle to win supply opportunities).
Significant diligence has gone into crafting a solution to the dilemma's faced and the policies to be satisfied. To date Matrix has talked to individual authorities, regional efficiency and improvement partnerships, the OGC, BERR, Professional Buy Consortia and SME's to try and canvas their input and views.
We are hosting a working half day discussion on Wednesday 8th July at our Head Office in Milton Keynes and we would welcome the attendance of local authority and/or public sector procurement professionals to input your views, challenge our views and work collectively to innovate a improved state for procurement in these service categories.
