Barry has over 15 years within the vendor neutral sector and has managed client relationships for over 150 staffing contracts. Barry joined Matrix SCM in 2009 and has taken the business from strength to strength; overseeing an annualised spend under management of £330m. Barry takes a hands-on approach in ensuring that our contracts remain fit for purpose and in-line with our customers’ strategic objectives. Barry joined Matrix SCM from Comensura, where he acted as Relationship Director with ultimate responsibility for over 80 local authority clients.
Hailing from the financial sector, Mark brings a wealth of experience and a range of fresh ideas to his position as Sales Director. This enables us to consistently develop new strategies to help our clients improve the way they are procuring staff.

All of our customers are assigned an experienced Business Manager. They’ll look at your contract strategically, making sure you receive the very best in value and service. They’re also responsible for ad-hoc tasks such as tenure discounts, supplier reviews, and tiering.
Your Business Manager will organise and run quarterly business reviews. These are an opportunity for you to share feedback and suggestions, discuss future requirements, and ensure your hiring process is running as smoothly and effectively as possible.

We provide our customers with a dedicated Account Manager who will take a proactive approach to the day-to-day running of your contract. They’ll ensure you’re always getting the best from our services and technology, and that they make a positive impact in your organisation whilst helping to reduce costs.
Your Account Manager is also responsible for agency worker compliance and will carry out all pre-employment checks to ensure contractors meet mandatory requirements.
We deliver our Account Management service from our Operations Centre, based in Milton Keynes, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Outside normal working hours, our Operations Centre remains staffed by highly experienced Account Managers who are on hand to place orders, or simply to assist Hiring Managers and agencies in their use of the system.
We’re on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as staff shortages can occur at any time. So no matter when you need to find staff, we’re here to help.
Our compliance specialists monitor legal changes that affect candidate pay rates and statutory contributions. For instance, they ensured our clients were the first to understand how changes to the minimum wage would impact them.
We also have a dedicated Implementation team, Supplier Enrolment specialists and an in-house IT and development team.
Having spent much of his time working closely with local authorities and NHS Trusts, Chris brings us a vital understanding of the challenges public sector organisations are facing at a time where budget constraints dictate that savings must be made whilst keeping service quality consistent.

Sara heads up our unique payroll service Client Directs Limited (CDL), which payrolls workers not engaged by a temporary recruitment agency, or who can no longer operate under their agency.
CDL currently payroll hundreds of temporary workers a week on behalf of a number of our customers who require a ‘payroll only’ service. This offers customers the ability to engage workers on a temporary basis through vendor management services, whilst removing unnecessary internal administration and risk. CDL has the ability to manage a pool of candidates for hard-to-fill or niche roles, giving customers access to quality candidates at a payroll-only cost.
