A list of FAQ’s relating to Matrix, the market and our model. Proving simple and brief answers.
Matrix SCM specialises in the provision of supply chain management solutions. Through a combination of people, process and technology, we streamline and automate the process by which organisations engage with agency staff through our vendor neutral solution.
Vendor neutral recruitment means we have no affiliation to any recruitment agency. Unlike other managed service providers or master vendors we don’t own a recruitment agency in our wider group, nor do we have any vested interest with any recruitment agencies.
True neutral vendor providers have no affiliation to, or ownership of, any recruitment agency. The neutral vendor approach introduces fair, open and transparent competition in to the marketplace which ultimately provides better quality candidates at the best market price. Our vendor neutral model promotes inclusive competition and technology-enabled supplier responsiveness.
The master vendor model involves a single lead agency that is charged with filling the requirements first. Often its only when this lead agency is unable to fill a role that a wider, pre-selected supply chain – itself managed by the lead agency – will be invited to source candidates. The lead agency, which has a vested interest in its own success throughout the contract, will submit its own candidates in the first instance, even if those further along its supply chain are more suitable for the role.
Matrix is a genuine vendor neutral provider. This means that Matrix does not supply temporary workers directly itself, and therefore does not compete with other recruitment agencies; providing customers with the most competitive and robust supply chain possible.
Customers who implement CR.Net for the provision of agency staff will be able to achieve the following demonstrable outcomes:
We are delivering our customers an average annual cashable saving of 11% on their agency staffing spend. Customers who have never had a managed service solution in place previously can expect to achieve even greater savings each year.
Matrix SCM offers a bespoke implementation experience that’s built on a solid, robust methodology which we’ve used with over 80 customers in the past eight years. The implementation of our solution typically takes 10 – 12 weeks, ensuring our customers experience a seamless transition on to our programme.
Yes. Most of our customers engage with us under a primary contractor model; best suited for those customers who are looking to outsource all responsibility for managing the end to end procurement process to Matrix. However, customers can utilise our ‘SaaS’, or Software as a Service offering.
Customers who partner with Matrix under a SaaS model, simply license Matrix-CR.Net rather than purchase it. Customers will be required to pay an annual license fee for the software, and can then decide which, if any, professional services they wish to purchase from Matrix.
Your organisation will retain a direct contractual relationship with their suppliers.
